"I can't begin to explain how much fun my family and I had. You really gave us everything you promised and more. The experience was one of a kind and unlike any other. My kids have been talking about it ever since we left New York last week. Thank you so much for everything. We can't wait to come back and try a different tour!"

Robin was absolutely phenomenal. The tour lasted three hours instead of designated two hours. Robin provided an in-depth historical overview of mobs of old and not-so-old NYC. Her knowledge of history and places is highly impressive.

"From her information to her true New York City vibe, if you're going to do a tour in the area, make sure you do it with Robin. If all of our teachers taught school this way, our kids would be a lot better off. It was enjoyable and interesting!"

I organized this tour (Sun April 28, 2013) for the Oceanside Chapter of Hadassah. The lower east side seemed like a fascinating place to go to learn more about our roots. Robin, our tour guide, was fantastic. She brought it all to life!! She is unbelievably knowledgable on the history of the area, but entertaining too. She kept us interested and had all sorts of interesting details about the area to share. I have never been one for tours but she brought the area to life. And she's funny too. A true NYer!! If you want to have a great NY experience, don't miss this company and this tour guide!! We plan to book with her again, this Fall and see some other neighborhood in the Big Apple.

Hi Robin - Thanks again for the food tour last Sunday. I'm still sad that we had to leave so quickly. I do need to do a tour with you again! Will also post on Trip Advisor. thanks again.....all the food was amazing! OMG were the cannoli good!! My friend and I did a Greenwich Village food tour with the effervescent Robin! What a bundle of energy, passion and knowledge. We had a super time eating at a number of great "hot spots" in addition to gathering some very cool insights to both the history and sub-culture of this particular neighborhood. Robin's passion and love for 'her' city is evident. She really wants you to have a good time and learn to love NYC as much as she does. Her passion is definitely contagious! We were both extremely sad to have to cut our tour a bit short in order to catch a train home, however we will definitely hook up with Robin again next time we're in NYC! If you're thinking about taking a tour but haven't yet committed - don't hesitate a second longer, contact Robin!

"I had never been to NYC in a long time. This tour taught me much history in the small time I was there. Robin is amazing and knows her history. It's even better with her Brooklyn accent! If I go back, I would definitely go on this tour again. If I ever have a question about the city, I would totally ask Robin. She was the perfect tour guide!"

We were in for, not just a treat, but several treats as we walked through the historical Lower East Side and sampled the ethnic foods from the area! She catered not only to our taste buds with history, but catered the tour for my Theatre Arts group adding the West Side Story and other famous shows to the walk. We loved it and especially loved the old fashion candy store! Thanks Robin for showing the students not only a good time but also making the Lower East Side come to life!

I joined Metro NYC Tours for the Soho Little Italy Chinatown tour. I am from Long Island and always wanted to go on a walking tour. We (my friend and I) met our guide Robin at the designated location and immediately knew we were in for a special treat. For the next 2.5 hours which flew by she shared so many stories ( I loved the mafia ones) and history with passion and humor. I had visited and eaten in these areas in the past but never took the time to learn about them. She is extremely knowledgeable and loved sharing her knowledge with the group (15 ppl). Robin knows a lot of vendors along the route (being a street walker as she calls herself) and this added a personal touch to the tour. Some told us local stories that you would not find in books. We even stopped to taste Chinese Dumplings (4 for $1.00) can't beat that. I recommended this tour to my friends and can't wait to go on another.

On April 28th, The Oceanside Chapter of Hadassah went on a tour of the Lower East Side. For most of us, it was the first time we took a guided walking tour in NYC. The tour took us by surprise. It far exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide, Robin London was knowable, funny, and quite entertaining. She was glad to answer any of her questions and the time went by very quickly. We are looking forward to booking another tour with her in the fall.

As Australians in NYC for the first time, we did the Lower East Side Food tour with Robin and thoroughly enjoyed both. We were impressed with their professionalism, extensive knowledge and first hand experience of the area, and she certainly brought all the history of the areas to life for us with their passion and humour and such insights are invaluable to tourists. The length of the tours (2-3 hrs) was perfect and bathroom breaks were provided. As were several food tastings on the Food tour at minimal cost. There is no better way to experience a city than to walk and we will certainly recommend these tours to anyone who is visiting New York.

I've been on a ton of tours, but often the information goes in one ear and out the other. This is NOT the case when Robin London is your guide. That woman's brain is not only packed with history and fun facts, but also a lot of humor and wit to boot! Robin - can't wait to explore more of the city with you!

Our tour of SoHo,Little Italy and Chinatown was the right length and very informative. It gave depth to areas of the city we could not have got just by walking around, even if we had known where to go.Our guide was knowledgeable and humorous so the time passed quickly and we came away feeling very satisfied. The meeting place was easy to find with a subway map and the directions provided. Keep up the good work.

I just returned from New York City, and we did 2 tours with Metro NYC Tours . We started with Robin and the Lower East Side Food tour. What an amazing lady. Very knowledgeable, engaging and entertaining. We were very happy to find out she would also be our guide for the Greenwich Village tour. She did an excellent job with this one also. She was able to give us the history of the area with the ease of an expert. Metro NYC Tours goes to great lengths to make sure their guides are professional, knowledgeable and best of all, friendly and fun to be with. Take a tour. You'll love it!!!!

Took Lower East Side NY Food Tour tour with Robin today. Most entertaining and informative. Not to be missed whether a seasoned or first time visitor to New York. Great value for money, I defy you not to be impressed with this lady.

Robin did a fantastic job of introducing us to NYC; she was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic while still ensuring the group were coping with the intense heat that day. A great way to spend a day in NYC - highly recommended - in fact I'm signing up to do another

We took the all day tour ?on our first day in NYC. It started promptly, we had pre-booked and confirmed booking by e-mail. Robyn was a great guide and there were 20+ people in our group. Fortunately it wasn't too hot that day so the walking was bearable. The tour started at Wall St, passing by 9/11 memorial, Soho, Chinatown, Little Italy, Greenwich Village, Chelsea market etc. The tour itself was great, interesting stories I would recommend this tour, but not for children under 13-14 We used one bus and one tube train. The guide was great though and kept the tour moving along.

My wife and I, plus 2 friends were lucky enough to experience the all-in-one New York downtown tour, led by Robyn, which proved to be a tiring and exhilarating day. We all learnt so much about the fascinating city of New York. The tour lasted for a grand total of 7 hours, which, despite the heat flew by. Robyn kept the whole thing moving with plenty of chances to refresh ourselves for those of us who were unused to the heat and humidity, and lots of interesting tales, keeping the whole of the party interested and enthused. A great way to see and learn about NYC. We saw so much, starting at Wall St, and finishing at Chelsea Market, visiting Chinatown, Little Italy, City Hall, Greenwich Village, SoHo and so many other other places. Thoroughly recommended!

We had a blast doing this tour!!!!! seriously, especially if you have time but not so much time ( like 4 days maybe) this tour is perfect! it takes 7 long but awesome and interesting hours and most of the time passes just like that! you will really see all and if you loved for example greenwich village like i did just come back on your own the next day! this tour is more than a sample of everything but it gives you ideas:) buildings you would normally pass saying oh thats nice get a story and new york has a lot of stories:) our tour guide robin took extra good care of us and made sure we could get enough water in the heat:) she is a REAL new yorker what makes the tour even better! just one thing: if you dont like to walk all day and you would enjoy another tour more but miss a lot of fun! but we also had seniors and juniors who really enjoyed it;)

We did the All-in-One Downtown Tour on Tuesday 24 July. It started at 10am and finished at 5pm. Our tour guide was Robin and she was excellent (actually a professional guide), she was a wealth of knowledge and shared lots of information, history and stories with us throughout the day. We had just arrived late the night before, having flown in from Australia. So we were both very tired and jetlagged but were so pleased that we did the tour. It is definitely one of the best ways to see New York if you are up for the challenge of being on your feet all day. It was a very hot day and Robin did her best to keep us in the shade as much as possible and to make regular stops to pick up cold drinks (from vendors who she made sure didn't rip us off). We walked through lots of areas that we probably wouldn't have gone to by ourselves including Chinatown (for great, cheap dumplings), SoHo, Little Italy (where we stopped for lunch in Bleecker St), Greenwich Village, the 'Cast Iron' buildings, the Meatpacking District, Chelsea Markets etc and it was great to have all the inside information on the history of each of those areas without having to read through lots of guide books. We even got to ride the subway with someone experienced as part of the tour which gave us a bit more confidence next time when we used it ourselves. Well worth doing, highly recommended.

This private 6 hour tour well worth the price we paid . We met Robin at Grand Central Station by the clock, and then embarked on the walking journey of a lifetime! This was our first time in New York. It was just my mom (72) sis and I (both in our 40's). Yes, we had aching legs by the end of the day, but the tour was well worth it. We rode the subway for the first time, got to hail cabs as New Yorkers do, take a picture with the NYPD, SOHO, Little Italy, China Town, Greenwich Village, Washington, Park, Wall Street, World Trade Center, and at the end she walked us to the Staten Island Ferry where we went (for free) across with river and saw the Statue of Liberty. Such an amazing day. Forever will be a highlight of our lives!
